Interim Chef Services


The definition of the word Interim is an interval of time between one event, process, or period and another. Belonging to, serving during, or taking place during an intermediate interval of time; temporary: an interim agreement. This can be a stressful time for Club Management as often times the operation is dependent upon the Executive Chef and there is not adequate backup.

At David Meyers Associates we are dedicated to helping your food service maintain its excellent standard by providing an Interim Head Chef to oversee the day to day running of your kitchen while it gives you the time to search/interview & trial your candidates.

In this regard we offer three options for you to consider.

  1. Placement of an “Interim Chef” for a period supporting an exclusive “Chef Search Campaign” signed contract – No Charge. If the Club retains David Meyers Associates (DMA) on a full service basis to find your next Executive Chef we do not charge for finding an Interim Chef during the search period.
  2. Securing an “Interim Chef” for period of up to 60-days while club conducts an independent search and does not retain (DMA) there is a one-time temporary placement charge of $4,000.
  3. Securing an “Interim Chef” for period lasting greater than 60 days concurrent to club’s independent efforts there is a charge of $6,500.

In all options if the Club hires the “Interim Chef Placement” it constitutes a search completed in full, with “Full Fee Earned” as provided in the contract proposal.
