Greetings of Peace – 2014

Greetings of Peace from David Meyers and Associates
The holiday season is a time for sharing love and thoughts of gratitude. 2014 was another successful year for David Meyers Associates, and I want you to know how much we appreciate you. We are blessed to have your support and encouragement and never take it for granted.During the past twelve months, my partner Bill Schulz and I visited with clients from coast to coast. These site visits are extremely informative in helping us learn about our client (the Club) and also get first hand insight as to what the Club may need in their new Chef. We plan to continue this effective practice in 2015. Our hands-on approach to getting to know our clients and candidates personally truly makes a difference. You should also know that DMA recently launched a new, more interactive website. If you have not visited us on the web, please do so at https://meyersassociates.com. We encourage you to visit often as we now post our career opportunities, and also take your resume information on-line.

This letter contains a message of happiness and peace to all those who are a part of our life as a company; but equally important is a wish extended to your own family and friends. We respect your work ethic as professional chefs; however, we all need balance in our lives. We encourage you to take some time for those you hold dear during the hectic holiday season. Make them feel special. Let love fill your days with happiness, keeping in mind the true meaning of Christmas.

In Memorium

During the year, our profession lost one of its true icons. Peter Timmins, CMC, passed

away late October. A dear friend, Peter was a true professional, always had a smile, a

story to tell and an upbeat approach to life. He did not hesitate to give back to his
profession and was a mentor to many beyond imagine. Family, friends, and fellow

professionals will miss him dearly. Peter was well-known for famous quotes and sayings,
and those who knew him were often on the sharp edge of his witty attacks. One such
quote that had particular meaning to me was, “Ask yourself the question – did I make a
difference?” Well, Peter certainly did.

During this joyous time of year, and continuing into 2015, let’s all try to make a difference – in our own lives, and the lives of others. As an ongoing gift, it is the greatest one of all!

PEACE ON EARTH from David and the entire Meyers family
